Community Warriors Art Club

Community Warriors: Even the smallest hands can carry powerful messages

Community Warriors is a community art workshop for children ages 5–14 that explores kindness, care, and showing up for others—especially during the quiet, isolating months of winter.

As a gentle response to Valentine’s Day, the project reframes love as something we practice through community, compassion, and connection. Participants will look at artist’s such as Keith Haring and JR taking inspiration from the impact of their art on communities, understanding the power of art. Children will then create artwork meant to uplift others, with pieces displayed locally and shared throughout the community to brighten the days of those who need it most.
